Shane Bowers is a top prospect with the Ottawa Senators in the National Hockey League. He was the Sens 1st pick of the 2017 NHL draft in Chicago, 28th overall and is now preparing for his first season at Boston University with the NCAA Terriers after spending the 2016/17 season with Waterloo Black Hawks of the USHL. Bowers began his minor hockey in Chebucto and eventually played with the Halifax McDonalds in the Nova Scotia Major Midget Hockey League.
