Nathan MacKinnon returned home to Nova Scotia this summer to enjoy some R & R with his friends and family after competing at the 2017 World Championships with Team Canada. The 24 year old Colorado Avalanche star is about to enter his 5th season in the NHL and is hoping to lead the Avs forward after a disappointing finish last season. MacKinnon has been training with a group of pros including Sidney Crosby this summer. Here is a look at his last skate in August.
