Nathan MacKinnon finsiehd a close 2nd to Taylor Hall in the NHL MVP voting and some suggested the Colorado Avalanche forward was deserving of the Hart Trophy. MacKinnon is home in Nova Scotia for the summer and getting ready for his 5th NHL season after an impressive 97 points during the 20017/18 season.
