Kian Bell moved to Bedford, NS this August after growing up and playing all his minor hockey hockey in Saskatchewan. He arrvied to late to try out for a Nova Scotia Major Midget Hockey League team so has joined the Basin Armada in the province’s Minor Midget AAA. The Armada are excited to have the skilled forward who credits his mother, Fiona Smith-Bell for his love for the game. She is a 2 time World champ and played 8 seasons with our National womens team. Kian Bell is 2 sport athlete and also plays baseball for Newbridge Academy. John Moore caught up with Bell and head coach David Comeau prior to a recent game.
