Evan Nause is an elite 14 year old hockey prospect with the Newbridge Academy U18 Varsity team. The Riverview NB native began the season with Notre Dame in Saskatchewan but it wasn’t the right place for him and his older brother Ryan. They both enrolled at the Dartmouth NS private school and have become valuable members of the team. Evan is a highly watched 14 year old and many scouts are projecting he is a possible 1st overall pick in the 2019 QMJHL draft if he decided to take that route. Newbridge coach Matt Anthony thinks Nause has similar skills to Jared McIsaac of the Mooseheads and Luke Green of the Sherbrooke Phoenix. Both are Nova Scotia born defenceman.
