18 year old Drake Batherson is confident the time has come to earn a spot on the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles roster for the 2016/17 season. The 18 year old 2015 6th round pick played with the Valley Wildcats of the Maritime Junior Hockey League last season but credits a late growth spurt for making him a different player than he was when drafted. He was 5 foot 5 115 lbs in first year of midget and is now 6 foot 1 185 lbs. John Moore caught up with the Valley native at the Hub City Showcase in Moncton NB.
