David Gagnon is a 17 year old high scoring forward with Dartmouth Steele Subaru in the Nova Scotia Major Midget Hockey League and has become an offensive force in his rookie season. He has not taken the traditional route as he played in the Metro High School Hockey League the past 2 seasons with Citadel Phoenix. This season he has become a clutch forward and plays on a high scoring line with Jake Quillan and Ozzie King. Gagnon finished 2nd in team scoring in the regular season and 9th overall in the NSMMHL. Truro Bearcats of the Maritime Hockey League selected the Halifax native in the 6th round this past summer but he will have many options available to him next season after such a breakout season.
