Chase Ellis is 6 foot 2 215 pound 15 year old forward who will make his debut in the Nova Scotia Major Midget Hockey League this fall. The former Newbridge Academy student is returning home to play for the defending Telus Cup champions and is looking forward to join a contending team. After much discussion, Ellis has decided the NSMMHL is the best place to be if he wants to eventualy play in the QMJHL. Ellis is working with power skating coach Jill Plandowski over the next few weeks to get ready for the coming season. John Moore caught up with the Wycocomagh native before a recent on ice session at the Civic Arena in Halifax.
