Max Fortier leaves Halifax for the Montreal Canadians camp today after spending the last 2 weeks training with the QMJHL team. The 20 year old is on the verge of setting numerous franchise scoring records and yet remains unsigned without a pro contract. He will be one of 23 prospects invited to the camp in Montreal and will also take part in a three day tournament with the Senators and Maple Leafs. Fortier clearly wants a pro contract but if not could return to Halifax as an overager and his 5th season in the QMJHL.
