Western Hurricanes Konnor MacInnis was named the team’s Player of the Game in the Bronze medal game at the 2017 Nova Scotia Major Bantam championship in Berwick, NS Sunday. MacInnis came up with a strong performance to lead his team to a 4-2 victory over Landworks Gulls in the 3rd place game. The 5 foot 3 100 lb goalie has been the backup to top prospect Jeremy Robar much of the season and played 11 games during the regular season and only saw part of a game during the Nova Scotia Major Bantam playoffs. He saved one of his best performances of the season in his start against the Gulls. Here is video of the 2003 born South Shore Pee Wee AAA graduate.
