Truro Bearcats’ rookie Dylan Burton has shown steady progress in his first season in the Maritime Junior Hockey League. The 18 year old 2016 1st round pick of the Bearcats has seen his ice time grow and as well as his role on the Junior A team and is now off to the Fred Page Cup in Terrebonne, Quebec (May 4-7). Burton closed out his Nova Scotia Major Midget career with Dartmouth and was undrafted by the QMJHL. The hard working winger wasn’t deterred and is gaining plenty of repsect from his teammates and coach Shawn Evans. Evans believes Burton could one day soon wear a letter for the Bearcats.
