Some fast action by the officiating team prevented what potentially could have turned into a game ending brawl at Halifax Metro Centre. Saint John forward Jason Cameron fired a shot at Mooseheads goaltender Kevin Darveau as the game ended and suddenly players paired off and Saint John goalie Sebasien Auger raced to the Haifax end to eventually become paired up with Darveau. The officiating crew of referees Thane Arsenault and Tim Hamel and linesemen Wayne Doyle and Jeff Heron did well to quickly restore order.
