Nova Scotia’s Major Bantam Hockey League is once again raising money for the Children’s Wish Foundation of Nova Scotia. Its the 2nd year in a row the league and the 12 teams have hosted a specific child on a Game Day. Dartmouth Whalers hosted Children’s Wish recipient 6 year old Reid MacDonald Sunday at the Dartmouth Sportsplex. Reid was diagnosed with Severe Immune Deficiency Syndrome at 6 months of age and required a bone marrow translant from his older sister. He’s a healthy boy today and plays minor hockey in the Sackville Flyers association. John Moore spoke with Reid, his father Jamie and Whalers President Chris Guildford prior to the NSMBHL game with Kings Mutual Valley Wildcats.
