Norm Batherson won’t be spending the holidays in Nova Scotia this year but instead is heading to Bufffalo NY, the site of the World Junior Hockey Championships. His son, Drake an Ottawa Senators 5th round draft pick this past summer and member of the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles has been named to the National Junior team. Batherson and his wife are “overjoyed with the announcment and were at Scotiabank Saturday for the Mooseheads/Screaming Eagles game. John Moore caught up with the former pro who spent much of his pro career in the AHL and Europe.
