The Halifax native is hoping to earn a spot with Flames AHL franchise in Stockton, Ca.. He spoke with John Moore this week after an early morning on ice session at the BMO Centre in Bedford, NS with Brad McCharles. McDonald spent his QMJHL career with Charlottetown Islanders and Acadie Bathurst Titan.
