Lukas Cormier is a rookie defenceman with the Moncton Flyers of the New Brunswick Prince Edward Island Major Midget Hockey League. Cormier is having an exceptional season and is the top scoring defenceman in the league and 2nd in the overall scoring race. Cormier has well over a pointa game and the Flyers are 1st overall with an excellent chance to represent the province at the Atlantic’s hosted by Cole Harbour Wolfpack in April. Cormier is drawing plenty of interest from QMJHL teams and scouts as well as teams stateside. He’s not clear as to where he will go next season.
