Josh Crooks is a 15 year old affiliate player with the Halifax McDonalds in the Nova Scotia Major Midget Hockey League. Crooks began the season with the Dartmouth Vees of the newly formed Nova Scotia Minor Midget Hockey League and is one of the top scorers. This past weekend was a huge step forward in the young man’s career as he was called up to play the Macs at the Monctonian and was named to the tournament prospect game, where he was named captain and had a goal and an assist in the highly scouted showcase game. John Moore interviews Crooks, his coach Tim Boyce and one of his teammates, Josh Nicholson who stepped aside to allow Crooks to have the opportunity to play.
