Joe Veleno is entering his 2nd season in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. Hockey Canada granted the then 15 year old an”excemption status” to allow him to play in the Q. Veleno lived up to his advance billing scored 13 goals and totalling 43 points as a 15 year old rookie. This summer he has added 15 pounds and a couple of inches to his frame and is looking to continue to develope with Saint John.
