Logan Shaw signed a 1 year 1 way $650,000 contract with the Anaheim Ducks in the off season. The 24 year old Glace Bay native suffered a groin injury which knocked him out of lineup during the Ducks playoff run but is healthy and ready to lock down a spot in the Anaheim lineup. Shaw spent much of August training with Sidney Crosby, Nathan MacKinnon and a large group of other pro hockey players. He actually played on the same line with Crosby and MacKinnon during scrimmages and didn’t look out of place. The former Cape Breton Screaming Eagle also managed to record a hole in one on the popular high profile Cabot Links course. John Moore caught up with Shaw prior to his last visit to Glace Bay before heading west.
