Gavin Hart has been one of the most plesant suprise for the Halifax Mooseheads over the past 2 weeks. The 12th round pick of this summers draft was considered a longshot to make the hockey team but the Pictou County Weeks forward has impressed the coaching staff including head coach Jim Midgley. Hart stands 5 foot 5 1/2 inch and yet is a speedy forward with no regard for bigger, older players. He has provided offence during the Rookie Challenge and followed it up with a goal an an assist in a pre season Mooseheads 4-3 OT win over Cape Breton Wednesday in East Hants. John Moore caught up with the Mooseheads prospect and coach Midgley prior to the game.
