Filip Zadina is 17 year old winger from the Czech Republic and was selected 11th overall in the 2017 CHL Import draft by the Halifax Mooseheads. The 6 foot 200 lb offensive talent played 25 games with Pardubice in the Czech Mens League diring the 2016/17 season despite being drafted the previous summer by the Vancouver Giants. Zadina arrived in Halifax on Saturday and practiced with the team for the first time today at the Halifax Forum. John Moore caught up with the highly touted prospect, currently projected as a top 10 pick for the 2018 NHL Entry draft. He also spoke with Head Coach Jim MIdgley who says he reminds him of former Mooseehads and San Jose prospect Timo Meier. Here are interviews and video from practice.
