Drake Batherson was the Ottawa Senators 4th round pick of the 2017 NHL amateur draft in Chicago, Illinois. The Cape Breton Screaming Eagles forward is coming off his 2nd season in the QMJHL and has seen rapid development since leavng the Valley Wildcats of the Maritime Junior Hockey League. John Moore caught up with the Sens prospect in Halifax after returing from a very succesful development camp in the Nations capitol. Batherson’s father Norm once played in the Senators organization and his uncle is former NHLer Dennis Vial.
