CIS Prospect Campbell Pickard is having an excellent season with the Miramichi Timberwolves of the Maritime Junior Hockey League. He’s one of the reasons the Timberwolves have reached the championship series final for the first time in their history. The Halifax native was orginally drafted out of Nova Scotia Major Midget Hockey League by the Baie Comeau Drakkar. He eventually was traded to Acadie-Bathurst Titan and then onto the Moncton Wildcats. He has found a home in the Maritime Hockey League and is now considered a CIS prospect. He is uncertain where he will play next season but he will have options. The Timberwolves are still in the hunt for a berth at the Fred Page Cup next month in Quebec. John Moore caught up with the Halifax native prior to Game #6 of their championship series with Truro Bearcats.
