Bedford Blues claim the 2017 Nova Scotia Midget AA title virtue of an 8-2 win over Antigonish Bulldogs at the provincial championships in Spryfield, NS Sunday. The Blues stormed out to a 3-0 lead forcing the Bulldgs to make a goaltending change and never looked back. It capped off a perfect 4 day tournament as the Blues won all their games convincingly. Players of the game for Bedford, Carter Nickerson and for Antigonish Josh Avery with both Bulldogs goals.
