Antoine Crete-Belzile was eligible for the 2017 NHL draft but was extremely dissapointed when he went undrafted in Chicago. The 18 year old defenceman, received an invite to the Winnipeg Jets camp but is now entering his 3rd season in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey league with the Blainville-Boisbrand Armada. His coach and general manager Joel Bouchard believes Injuries prevented Crete-Belzile from begin taken in Chicago but also thinks it will be better for him in the long term. There is renewed interest in the two way defenceman and he could be selected at the 2018 Draft in Dallas. John Moore caught up with Crete-Belzile and Bouchard prior to a game in Halifax against the Mooseheads.
